W.J. "Duke" Mader learned photography from his Uncle Dick when Duke was only 10 yrs. old.
He attended his first art show in the 10th grade in Chicago, IL. In 1975 he joined I.A.Q.D.E. Independent Association

Sometime in 1995 Duke was diagnosed with Parkinsons. With his mobility restricted he turned his artistic
focus to photographing nature. Duke takes portraits of nature's beauty, not pictures. His skills in digital photography
and his unique ability to interpret beauty are unparallelled. His latest demonstrations are his Signature
and Egg Series.
